On April 18th, at 2:00 pm Central Standard Time, we will have a lecture with Andy Zellner, a rousing caver, adventurer, and writer. Andy has explored the southern reaches of the Russell cave system. He is a member of the National Speleological Society and has explored many of the 2000 known caves in Jackson County.
At 3:00 pm, we will celebrate Earth Day early by having a volunteer spring cleanup at the mouth of the cave! Please bring clothes that can get wet, sturdy shoes, and any trash collecting gear you have!
